Like any add-on, it takes up some memory, and on occasion it has slowed down my internet response time on some applications. I simply disable the feature during those times, but it is a valuable tool in highlighting text for the articles and studies that I like to read.

The only issue is when taking notes if I press the `s` button it toggles the web-highlighter menu on/off. Thus I'm unable to use `s` when taking notes on it.

It's so user friendly, supporting both an icon over highlighted text AND hotkeys if you fancy that. I've tried others and it's surprising how many can't get this to work reliably.
Just love the tool and when the need for syncing comes up I will go premium.
