Has served me reliably for years. However, it recently began to fail in downloading auto backups, clogging up my downloads menu with these "auto-stg-backup-dayofmonth..." errors. Not sure how to contact the creator about this.

Almost everything I could possibly want, and it almost brings Firefox up to parity with OperaGX's workspaces (though it surpasses it in others). Almost.

Pinned tabs and Firefox's native tab groups tend to 'leak' (for lack of a better term) through the groups in this extension.

i keep having issues with previous session not opening, and normally i can just click "restore previous session" and it returns all the tabs to the correct groups but i had a guy clean my pc today and he didn't restore session before closing and reopening again (which makes the option dissapear). which left me with "reopen all tabs" in recently closed, and not only did it not restore them all, they were not in groups after restoring. well, the extension only made the experience slightly worse but i needed somewhere to vent i guess lol. becareful out there if you cherish your tabs

Fantastic extension. Makes managing tabs and tab groups a breeze. A few issues:

1. The extension makes backups in my download folder, which is not great since I like to keep my downloads folder clean.
2. Does not yet play well with the new in-built tab grouping feature from Firefox. Hoping this will be resolved soon.
3. The black icon color blends in with my black window color, which makes it nearly impossible to see the button.
4. On first install, the existing tabs don't integrate with the extension and need to be manually moved in.

Those aside, It's such a great extension, easily one of my favourites. Thanks!

Best Tabs extension.
Would rate 5, but after the latest Firefox update, the tabs that are not in a group, are not visible at the extension, unless you add them to a group.
So, if you open a new ungrouped tab and close out of Firefox, it disappears, since it is hidden and it is not in a group.
Also, when you close out of Firefox, some tabs, sometimes gets ungrouped, and since you cannot see ungrouped tabs anymore, you got to find them from Firefox's drop down menu, since they are hidden.

Looks promising, but does not support pinned tabs.

I love this extension. It allows me to focus on work one tab group at a time vs. having a million tabs open at once.

Would love if we could sync tab groups easily. Besides a backup. Perhaps some way to sync with Git?

Works great on my Windows 11 laptop, but recently stopped working on my Linux Mint laptop. On Mint, when the browser is reopened all tabs are immediately opened in the same group, regardless of what group it's supposed to be in. I have emailed the .json bug report to the dev, hopefully it gets fixed soon.

Add on works great! Makes my user experience significantly better. One issue though: Please add support for using keys F13-24 for keyboard shortcuts. They are not standard, but they are defined for all major operating systems and I use them in my custom keymap, would be extremely useful to be able to bind shortcuts using them. Currently, firefox lets you assign the keys to the functions, but attempting to use the bound hotkeys does not do anything. Thanks!

Good extension but would be better to have wider space for displaying group names

Very nearly what I'm looking for... the only thing I really want is to have tab groups visible in the sidebar in an accordion style rather than groups that you need to "move into". I would like to be able to see all tabs across multiple (or all) groups in the sidebar at once - I don't mind how exactly this is implemented behind the scenes, it could still use group context switching and such when I click between tabs in different groups. But being able to open and see tabs from multiple groups at once would provide feature parity with tab grouping in other browsers (not to mention all the extra features this addon provides on top of that), especially now that we can use the sidebar effectively as a replacement for the default Firefox tab list.

Really great. I got comfortable with it and had hundreds of tabs saved in different groups (I like how when you open the browser it has the tabs saved but only loads the tabs you actually go to in that session to save CPU usage and memory, and you can close Firefox and reopen it if you have too many loaded in memory). When some error caused it to lose all the tabs, I simply restored the backup because of the extension's nifty automatic backup. The only problem is there is no way to allow it access to files on my device, so if I'm viewing pdfs in a different tab group, and then go to that group, I can't see the pdfs again unless I manually copy the file path into the address bar to load them again, which gets tedious if I'm viewing several pdfs in various tabs for school. They should add the ability to grant that permission so that it will smoothly reopen pdfs just like it smoothly reopens websites. Fix that and 5 stars!
