If this error still appears in version 1.4, can you share the URL of the page with the problem image(s), either here or on Github at https://github.com/jscher2000/Save-webP-as-extension/issues or by email at jscher2000@outlook.com. - Vurdert til 5 ut av 5av Firefox-bruker 17411074, 2 år siden

postet 2 år sidenHmm, the canvas used for the format conversion should scale to the natural dimensions of the image, but it sounds like there is some enlargement factor that I missed with those. So I can test the problem site, could you email me at jscher2000@outlook.com or submit a new issue on https://github.com/jscher2000/Save-webP-as-extension/issues ? Thanks.
As a workaround until then, you can try the "IE11" button, which re-requests the image as an older browser to discourage sending modern formats. Depending on the site, that may work for you. - Vurdert til 5 ut av 5av Firefox-bruker 18029131, 2 år siden

(Update: version 1.5.1 pops up a little panel with some more options when the script is denied permission to read the page. Previously that just caused silent failure.) Utviklerrespons
postet 2 år sidenHi morpheen, does the add-on entry show on the right-click context menu? If so, do the buttons display when you click the item? If so, do any of the buttons work or are they all nonresponsive?
For personal support, please contact me on Github at https://github.com/jscher2000/Save-webP-as-extension/issues or by email at jscher2000@outlook.com.

- Vurdert til 5 ut av 5av Firefox-bruker 12752117, 3 år sidenIt works real nice, provided the webp images are not in a frame (according to the explanation from the developer). But there's a workaround, opening the page in a new tab. After that, saving works. Fixing this minor issue would be excellent. Nice work and thanks!
- Vurdert til 5 ut av 5av Nikita, 3 år sidenActually works, so I'm happy.
Shift + PNG.
Also, would be better to let the images save directly in last saved folder by default, instead of switching to it in options (and option isn't clear about what it does). - Vurdert til 5 ut av 5av Alex Pedruzzi, 3 år sidenMuito bom! Converte imagens que muitos editores não reconhecem e oferece opções de qualidade na hora de salvar. TOP! Obrigado! XD
- Vurdert til 5 ut av 5av hope, 3 år sidenworks exactly as it says it will, and i have it on for all image file types + it makes saving things instant! i couldnt live without it :)

- Vurdert til 5 ut av 5av megakarlach, 3 år sidenIt simply just works, really great. It simply convert WebP to PNG/JPEG.
WebP is good but have some limitations, most systems and software generally does not have WebP, especially Windows (with it's photo viewer) and all old version of Photoshop until CC 2023, and some users hated WebP for many reasons, incl. had to convert files. - Vurdert til 5 ut av 5av Alex, 3 år sidensince recently, the bar does not pop up on some images

Thanks a lot for the answer, now the bar appears.
Your supplement is the best, it is simply impossible to do without it.Utviklerrespons
postet 3 år sidenSorry, yes, I changed a default setting in the last update. The bar used to always pop up in the "stand-alone" viewer (when you Open Image in New Tab). Now it only pops up automatically for WebP and AVIF images. But you can change it back in the Settings/Options.
Under "Button Bar Options" in the "Auto-close and Auto-open" section, there is a checkbox for "image/webp and image/avif only" -- uncheck that box to make sure the bar opens for all images if you might want to save a JPEG or PNG in a different format. - Vurdert til 5 ut av 5av Sauro P., 3 år sidenI could not live without this extension. I do things that require me to save a lot of images all at once daily, so I've now grown completely dependent on this. Literally can't express how helpful this extension is to me, its my best friend in this cold dark world
- Vurdert til 3 ut av 5av Kis Albert, 3 år sidenPlease add option to show bar for webp images only, I don't need this app for other images.

postet 3 år sidenHi, if you click the "gear" button on the info bar, you can find that option in the "Auto-close and Auto-open" section -- check the box in the parentheses:
[x] Open bar automatically on stand-alone web images ([x] image/webp and image/avif only)
I thought that was the default. [update 3/27/2023: version 1.3.3 sets that as the default, but this is not retroactive to existing installations if you have customized any settings already] - Vurdert til 3 ut av 5av Eschatological, 3 år siden
