Adds a little button in the URL bar that works exactly as advertised.

Initially doesn't work on Firefox. When you go on a steam page, you'll have a small Steam icon on the right side of the URL box, right next to the translate and bookmark buttons. You can click on the steam icon there and allow the extension to open steam links, then it works.

I didn't see this mentioned anywhere, so hopefully it helps someone.

Works on Firefox as of Feb 2025 \o/ but I did have to disable uBlock on the steam address for it to show - which obviously isn't a problem as I'm only using it to get into the client :)

Omg I can't tell you how useful this addon is. I can't stress enough how many times my friends would send me cool mods for games, but all links they share would automatically open in my browser, and I want it to open in my Steam client so I can install it there. This is exactly what I wanted and I can tell you were annoyed by this as well xD
