Because Cloudflare terminates TLS connections as a reverse proxy, it can technically see all data passing through, meaning the connection is not truly end-to-end encrypted.

The add-on scans each visited page for Cloudflare headers or resources and displays a clear warning when Cloudflare is involved. This helps users make informed decisions about their data especially on sites where they might submit personal information.
