por USER-EXPERIENCEONLY, el hace 5 años7-10-25: Run by some Russian hobbiest who fancies himself a programmer using a 14.4 baud net connection and apple II servers. SLOW cant keep connections requires frequent re-installs. Has not improved in years. Keeps sending you his BS adds to try to get you to download more of his crap. Mozilla has a hard time getting real programmers for addons so you're stuck with lame addons.
5-9-2025: I don't think this addon will eVER get better until it has a new developer. Same chronic problems no improvement. Increased evidence of probable malicious hacking banned by Brave Browser for malicious software yet STILL recommended by Firefox. What does that tell you about Mozilla?
4-11-25: author please sell this addon to someone who has the equipment and know how to manage it properly.
3-28-25:
no improvement. mozilla should take up a collection to buy this amateur hobbiest a 56k modem and a PIV computer then maybe he can get the addon to actually work well w/out having to constantly reinstall it or take a coffee break waiting for this "recommended" addon to respond.
3-7-25: must be using a 14.4 baud modem for his net connection and an commodore computer for his servers. Unresponsive and slow. Accurately denied by brave browers as "malware". Shows signs of malware on FFOX. Mozilla is too weak to get a good radio listening program so ur stuck with this junkware
1-27-25: Shit mozilla a pita to sign into-hacked signin. Worldwide radio -another crap addon to further tarnish ffox damages rep. Junk sotware with a Russian I think hobbiest who thinks he can program.Requires constant reinstalls cuz can keep settings.Must be using a commodore server on a 14.4baud connection to the net. Slow unresponsive crapware. many stations cannot connect regardless of ur ip. Can't fix it and won't sell it to someone competent so It remains junkware. all the other radio addons stink too
10-10-24: seems to have improved somewhat but still a long ways to go to be good. Still can't keep settings after browser cache clears, requring frequent reinstalls. Their servers are still often slow and lagging. They need to screen stations to not include those that disconnect all the time or cannot connect due to ip preferences. Guy fancies himself a programmer. He has a long ways to go to earn that title
8-24-24: idk, the guy that runs this thinks of himself as a programmer, haha.
Sell it to someone who has the net connection and equipment and know how to run it properly. Has good unrealized potential
there are NO good radio addons from mozilla. In fact, I'm looking for another brower that does not recommend bullshit addons that aren't any good.
Worldwide Radio is no exception. requires frequent reinstalls, can't keep settings. Stations frequently reject user ips and will not connect. Constant breaks in music. His server must be a P-II as very slow or non-responding. Junkware.
