It almost, kind of, sort of works...but with SERIOUS issues and as of 11/29/2025 I would say FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY AND SECURITY DO NOT INSTALL THIS EXTENSION!!!

Here are the MASSIVE issues with this extension starting with the serious one first:

- Permissions for microphone are NOT tied to the extension, but rather, to every, single, website you use. This means every time you press the hotkey to start voice typing, you get a pop-up from the website you're currently viewing to "enable microphone access permission". This is not only annoying, but it's actually a MASSIVE security issue. You are literally giving every single website you use this voice input extension on UNRESTRICTED access to your microphone, even when you stop recording. DO NOT USE.

- It only works in website text fields. It does not work in the address bar.

- While you are recording your voice input on a text field you do not get any preview of what's typing. You only see what the output is AFTER you've stopped recording by pressing the hotkey. This is likely a limitation that cannot be fixed and that's unfortunate.

- There's no way to change the hotkey to start and stop voice input detection (Ctrl+Shift+V) so sometimes you end up pasting because the Shift key gets ignored as an input (even when pressed). ***PLEASE let us change the hotkey!!!***

I wouldn't recommend this extension at all even if the permissions issue was completely resolved. And with that single security issue alone I will actively tell others to NOT use this and to UNINSTALL IT IMMEDIATELY if you are currently using it and make sure to go into your permissions settings and either reset it to default or remove each individual microphone permission you've granted to each website you've used the extension with.
