by zhirow, 4 months agoAdd-on works as advertised, I don't know what everyone is complaining about. Maybe they don't know how add-ons work? Anyway, the most common complaint is they cant get it to stop auto filling. The solution: Goto Manage Extensions>choose icloud passwords>choose Preferences>uncheck In-Page Autofill.
Problem solved.
Want to use FF's own password autofill? Goto Manage Extensions>choose icloud passwords>choose Preferences>>uncheck Turn off Firefox Autofill
Dont want any autofill from either? Goto Manage Extensions>choose icloud passwords>choose Preferences>uncheck In-Page Autofill>check Turn off Firefox Autofill
Want to use both password managers? Goto Manage Extensions>choose icloud passwords>choose Preferences>check In-Page Autofill>uncheck Turn off Firefox Autofil
It's not that complicated, people. It's like dealing with children around here. Sheesh. It works. Firefoxes works. Roboform works. LastPass works. Just pick one or don't; I'm not your dad.

- Rated 1 out of 5by lambski, 4 days agoThis extension does not work. Using in macOS Tahoe with latest version of Firefox, and I'm prompted to install the extension every time I try to use it. When I can get past being asked to install a plugin I already installed and paired (despite it being nowhere near straightforward to enter the required passcode) I'm able to pull up stored passwords, but I just get prompted to install the plugin again if I need to create a new password or add a site.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Squiddly, 8 days agoThis extension does not work with Firefox, unfortunately. I have the most recent macOS (Tahoe 26.1) and the most recent Firefox but... doesn't work. The security code to verify it never appears. It's disappointing since the Passwords app works so well in Safari. It's a super smooth process there.

- Rated 1 out of 5by J K, 13 days agoDoesn't seem to work with Firefox 145.0.1 macOS Sonoma 14.8.3 (23J216). Tried to do passkey login with Apple Music and it didn't trigger this extension in any way that I can tell. Apple Music did ask for my fingerprint auth before failing.

- Rated 1 out of 5by tacticurn, 23 days agoBasically tt doesn't work, and haven't for more than a year. Keep getting stuck at "Enable Passwords in iCloud for Windows" no matter what I've done. Jumped through all the hoops I could. Use KeePass.

Newsflash, I ditched Safari because you killed the useful parts of Adblock! I don't want to use your bad browser for a reason!
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 19573709, 25 days agoworked fine, but the latest update has made it so that EVERY SINGLE TEXT BOX is picked up as a password input. this is so unbearable to deal with that I have uninstalled the extension; not to mention the severe security issue caused by this.
