    This add-on works really well. It adds helpful features and makes my experience better. I haven’t had any problems with it. Overall, a great add-on that I’d recommend.

    I’ve been using this extension for a while, and it’s become a genuinely handy tool. Highlighting any word to instantly see synonyms, antonyms, and definitions saves me time and helps me improve my English as I work with texts every day. Thanks!

    This add-on works smoothly and is super helpful during the writing process. I love it! It has significantly improved my productivity and made editing much easier. Highly recommended!

    This was a great extension, but recently it started causing some random elements and text to not display English. Various places were affected (Google Sheets menu items, Google AI Overview text results, even the extension's own settings text). When I take a screenshot to have for a record, it displays the text as normal, but when viewing, it's changed. I only found this out when I troubleshooted the plugins and reactivating them one at a time to find the one that was causing the issue.

    Love the extension, but will have to use the actual website until this is fixed.

    It would be very beneficial if could also send:

    - Your browser name and version

    - Your operating system (Windows, macOS, etc.)

    This extension isn't showing any synonym! Even for 'simple'/'easy' words...

    We’re sorry that the Power Thesaurus extension wasn't showing synonyms. That definitely shouldn’t happen. It may help to reinstall the extension or check whether any script-blocking add-ons are interfering.

    Thanks for your feedback! We’re sorry about the trouble with the font size — the Firefox extension recently changed how text scaling works, which may have affected that setting.

    We’re already looking into ways to bring back adjustable fonts or improve readability options in future updates.

    Hey Power Thesaurus dev, can you tell me how does this work? Because when I select a text to get a meaning and thesaurus, I dont get to see this. I request you to see and make it present in context menu so that one can decide what to do post selection and drive to Power Thesaurus site. Add dictionary, please as Firefox doesnt have any dictionary addon and inbuilt is outdated. And why this doesnt come up in the searches for dictionary and search? Thanks.

    Thanks for sharing your feedback — and sorry for the confusion! The current Power Thesaurus Firefox extension is focused on quick synonym and antonym lookups rather than full dictionary definitions.

    Right now, you can use it by clicking the extension icon or highlighting a word and choosing “Power Thesaurus” (if enabled in your Firefox context menu settings). We’re exploring improvements, including dictionary integration and better visibility in Firefox search results.

    Your suggestions are very helpful — we’ll share them with our development team for review.

    EDIT: IT'S FIXED! It's perfect again! This is the best (and almost the only...) thesaurus add-on. Instant results, super easy to use - and I have used it nearly every day for a very long time.


    PREVIOUS REVIEW: I emailed them about the weird Maps bug two months ago. I had screenshots and mentioned that a whooole bunch of other reviews here said the same thing, figuring they were already aware... they asked me for more details and said they would submit it to their devs to be fixed. But it's been two months.... :(

    I've been using this for the longest time as it works well as a theasurus but the Google Maps bug is really annoying. I was almost sure Maps was intentionally bricked for Firefox by Google. I'll probably just stick to using the website.

    Edit: They finally fixed the bug. Nice job, devs!
